Join Us: Kindergarten Registration Campaign Kick-Off

The Delaware Readiness Teams invite you to the first ever statewide Kindergarten Registration Campaign Kick-Off! This event is free and open to the public.

Join First Lady Tracey Carney, the Department of Education, educators and early learning providers, community members, and parents to kick-off the campaign promoting on-time kindergarten registration in Delaware.

First Lady Carney will speak about the critical importance of supporting Delaware's youngest learners. This spring the First Lady launched First Chance Delaware, an umbrella group that will coordinate and promote a network of public-private partnerships organized helping young people and families. Its goals include expanding access to nutritious food, helping parents better prepare their children for school and assisting students suffering from emotional trauma.
